The Public Demonstrator Centre “ICT for Logistics” is a public space where ICT companies have the opportunity to demonstrate how their technology products and services can help to create innovative solutions, and improve the productivity and competitiveness of logistics companies.
Launched in April 2013 in Zaragoza (Spain) and supported by Aragon Technology Institute (ITA), the Centre aims at facilitating the transfer of technology, specialized services and knowledge between the ICT sector and logistics companies. Research prototypes can here be tested and demonstrated with real equipment and exploiting the infrastructures available at the Centre.
Additionally, the Demonstrator Centre creates the perfect environment to make innovation and business needs meet and match, as it supports the transfer of technologies to companies with meeting spaces for ICT suppliers and logistics companies, workshops and dedicated training sessions for companies, showing the benefits of incorporating ICT into production processes.
The Demonstrator Centre provides a public space of 450 square meters, divided into four modules each with different installed equipment. These modules include a smart warehouse area, a point of sale module, a transport module and conference room, as well as a central supply chain demonstration area.
Come to Zaragoza, innovate, get engaged and be logistics!
